Celbicon - Final tests for CO2 reduction to chemicals

The meeting of the 36-month CELBICON project was held in Stuttgart last 21 and 22 May.

We discussed about the scale-up and final platforms for the biological and electrochemical reactors. 5-stack configurations are going to be tested at a final TRL5 level for CO2 reduction to chemicals. Many efforts are being made to reach the final objectives.

CELBICON (H2020 EU project) aims at the development and scale-up, from TRL3 to TRL5, of new CO2-to-chemicals technologies (PHA plastics, lactic acid, isoprene), combining electrochemical and biological processes.
