ENDURUNS at the Salone Nautico, in Venice!

The ENDURUNS project (EU H2020) is hosted in the Salone Nautico, in Venice (31^st May - 4^th June).

The fuel cell system developed by HYSYTECH to be integrated into the Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle is shown, as well as the AUV and(Unmanned Surface Vehicle.

Furthermore, still within the Salone, the Consortium met to plan demonstration campaigns to be carried out in Venice, Bari and Klaipeda.

On a technical level, important details for the vehicles integration were discussed.

ENDURUNS project aims at developing a hybrid sea surveying Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle and an Unmanned Surface Vehicle, by using advanced power packs based on hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells, batteries and solar panels.

The main ambition of ENDURUNS is to develop a system capable of operating a wide-range of marine and oceanic missions, targeting the increase of scientific knowledge as well as industrial capability and performance.

Within the project, HYSYTECH has developed the hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell system, to recharge the lithium battery of the vehicles for extended range.
